Financial model review: new course for people who work with financial models, but don’t build them

It has surprised me over the years, how many people join Mazars Financial Modelling courses that are not be tasked to develop financial models. Participants will tell us that they receive models from an internal or external source and they need to check its integrity before preparing the required commercial analysis.

We have taken on this feedback, and in collaboration with our globally awarded financial model audit team, we have developed a new course aimed at assisting your journey toward increased quality in financial models – even when you are not building them yourself

New course: financial model review – available now on public schedule and in-house

An effective financial model review can ensure that decisions are made with an understanding of evidence with risk and help to ensure integrity of the outputs. Mazars Financial Modelling has developed a one-day Financial Model Review course to arm model review personnel with the tools, skills know how to track down errors in financial models.

We start with some solid principles of a model review, detail some approaches, look at some common mistakes and use a case study bring context. The whole course is very interactive to ensure that the methods demonstrated can be brought straight back to work with immediate benefits.

Financial model review course – who is this for?

This course is suitable for anyone who needs to build, review, or analyse financial models. Attendees have come from corporate finance, banks, audit firms and treasury corporations or direct from industry. The model review course is often combined with one of our model build courses, like best-practice project finance modelling, or financial modelling for renewable energy projects.
